At SpaceStylist, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to request deletion of the data we have collected from you via Facebook Login (e.g., profile info, email, public interactions used for occasion suggestions), please follow these steps:
- Remove the App from Facebook (this triggers a deletion request on Facebook’s side):
- Go to your Facebook account.
- Navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Click Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
- Find SpaceStylist in the list.
- Click Remove next to the app.
- Select Remove and confirm. You can also click Send Request if prompted to request full data deletion from our side.
- Request Deletion Directly from Us (for any stored data beyond Facebook’s scope):
- Email us at admin@spacestylist.com.ng.
- Subject: “Data Deletion Request – SpaceStylist”.
- Include:
- Your full name (as on Facebook).
- The email address associated with your Facebook account.
- Optional: Your Facebook User ID (if known) or a screenshot of your Facebook Apps and Websites page showing SpaceStylist.
- We will verify your identity and permanently delete all associated data (e.g., closeness scores, saved suggestions, customization previews) within 30 days, unless required to retain it by law.
What We Delete Upon valid request, we delete:
- Any Facebook-derived data (profile info, interactions analyzed for gifting suggestions).
- Custom inputs (e.g., uploaded photos, messages for gifts).
- Associated account records in our system.
We do not retain data longer than necessary and comply with Meta Platform Terms, Nigeria Data Protection Act, and applicable laws.
Confirmation After processing, we will email you a confirmation (if you provided an email). For status checks, reply to our confirmation email.
